Yoga and Mindfulness for Stress Management (8-10 year olds)
- Are you concerned your child is weighed down by stress at school or with friends?
- Does your child complain of headaches or stomach aches that seem linked to stress?
- Does your child have trouble moving on from setbacks and frustrations throughout the day?
- Does the rush and pressure of everyday life seem to make your child worried, exhausted, or irritable?
This workshop will introduce several yoga and mindfulness-based strategies to manage everyday stress and anxiety in our busy world. Meant to be both relaxing during the workshop and useful afterwards, strategies will be taught to be used outside of the workshop and in everyday life. Therapist is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Budding Yogis Instructor. Please have your child wear clothing they can easily move in. Minimum of 5 participants needed to run workshop.
