Jennifer is a counseling resident (supervised by Afton Cordoba) who has been with In Step for over 8 years. She started in the administrative department and knows the ins and outs of the practice. After receiving her PhD in Educational Psychology, she went back to school to pursue a counseling degree to become a Licensed Professional Counselor and now also has an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Jennifer sees clients of all ages. She has a passion for helping children work through their conflicts using play therapy. She also sees older children and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, feelings of sadness, and challenges fitting in socially. She has additional extensive training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) that she is passionate about and incorporates into sessions.
When not at In Step, Jennifer can be found playing with her own child and pets.
