“Stop Googling. Let’s Talk.”

I have some major concerns about how communication through technology influences a child’s ability to empathize and communicate in a fully present way. Much of what we do with Stepping Stones (the Social Skills Group Therapy program we run here at the practice with parents and kids) is to help children develop the skills they need in the here and now to understand the feelings and actions of others and how to respond to them with empathy and kindness.
