Salima is a licensed clinical social worker who works with individuals and families who desire help and guidance in dealing with life’s challenges. She is passionate about coaching clients to utilize their own well-being and innate wisdom in resolving their struggles. Salima is currently a student of Supercoach Academy 2016, an international transformational coaching program that provides training in the Three Principles of Mind, Consciousness and Thought. She is eager to share this understanding with clients who want to access their innate mental health, clarity and wisdom. Salima’s education also includes a Master’s in Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Post-Masters Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from the Argyle Institute of Human Relations in Montreal, Québec. At In Step, she works individually and in groups with children adolescents and parents and co-facilitates the parent DBT Skills Training program. In addition to working at In Step, Salima is a school social worker with Fairfax County Public Schools.
