Reading Social Signals

Tune into non-verbal communication.  Sometimes words and body language don’t match, and you might miss the real message if you aren’t paying attention.  It’s not just children who have difficulty understanding the motivations and feelings of others.  Deciphering the messages communicated by faces and bodies can be tricky business. Just like any other skill, reading non-verbal cues takes time, practice, and attention before we become adept at it.
