March 24, 2014Are your kids using their phones or tablets at the dinner table? Are you checking your work email or texting a friend? Just being in the same room is not the same as spending time together and communicating. Finding time to have dinner together is a big first step. Using precious dinner time to share ideas, thoughts and feelings is a critical next one. Your child is looking to you to set the stage for communicating. Listen to them, and they learn to listen back.
