Teach Your New Dog (I Mean Child) Old Tricks?
One last pic from China. The book! This is the version that Beijing’s Green Bean Books published recently in simple Chinese.
As many of you know, we just updated it and added sections about cyber bullying and social media. I am hopeful that they will decided to publish this new version as well.
The topics I added are really important ones for parents to be aware of starting in elementary school. Now when you make a social blunder, instead of it fizzling out with a ripped up note, it lives on in pictures on Instagram or posts on Facebook FOREVER.
The stakes are considerably higher now for our kids. Tell your kids, ‘Think of your post as permanent. If you aren’t willing to wear it on your T-shirt at school the next day for all to see. Don’t post it!’
