Ann Barrett, a Licensed Professional Counselor, received her undergraduate degree from the University of Mary Washington and her graduate degree from The George Washington University. She began her professional career at Caliber/ICF Consulting, providing services and support on a variety of child welfare initiatives. For the past seven years, Ann has been a school counselor for Loudoun County Public Schools. She worked in a middle school environment for four years, fostering a passion for working directly with children and adolescents. Currently, Ann is working at the high school level – strengthening her interest in working with students and their families to build skills and reinforce positive behaviors. She is experienced in both group counseling and individual support techniques, focusing on social/emotional challenges and academic obstacles. In her free time, Ann enjoys spending time with her husband and son, reading, and exercising to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
